About Dark & White Challenge Events



Dark & White Challenge Events are Peak District based and specialise in organising a wide variety of challenging events:

Trailquests & Mountain Biking - mountain bike orienteering events in the Peak District set up in liaison with the BMBO (British Mountain Bike Orienteering). There are both Winter and Summer leagues to choose from. Testing your stamina, mountain biking and navigational skills.

Mountain Marathons - from the now firmly established annual autumn Rab two day mountain challenge to our RaceKit sponsored three hour mini-mountain marathons in and around the Peak District, these events will very definitely test both your brains and your legs!

Fell Running - events organised in liaison with the FRA (Fell Runners Association) - October sees the annual running of the Hope Moors & Tors event in the Dark Peak (8.5 & 20 mile route options) whilst from Autumn 2013 there will be a new series of Peak District Trail Races - traffic free, off-road trail races in the superb surroundings of the Peak National Park with the aim to suit all running abilities.

Road Biking - 2013 will see the addition of more road biking/sportive events. In April there is the "Igloo" from Chesterfield with two routes (130km & 65km) in and around the Peak District Eastern Moors. June 2013 sees the brand new "Peak Epic" from Bakewell with three route choices, the longest being a tough 162km ride with 4000m of climb. All sportives are registered and supported by British Cycling.

This website provides full information and a schedule of all ongoing events plus information/entry forms in an easily downloadable format. Event entries can be made on-line through our association with WorldPay and Nat West Streamline. The site also contains a complete archive of results from all previous events.
