Fell Running/Challenge Walks



Each October Dark & White organise the annual Hope Moors & Tors Challenge - this is an 8 & 20 mile autumn challenge for walkers and fell runners from Hope in North Derbyshire. This is a very popular event with a full entry each year (2008 is the 10th anniversary) - entrants can either opt for the classic 20 mile route which visits Mam Tor, Kinder Scout and Lose Hill or the shorter - but no less scenic - 8 mile route taking in Cave Dale, Mam Tor and Hollins Cross.

Electronic timing is used and there is an excellent start/finish venue with hard standing car parking, plenty of changing facilities, hot showers and a catering area.

Entry forms come out in the Spring.
