The Long Tour of Bradwell Route (19/07/2009 15:12:43)

The map for the Long Tour of Bradwell (August 8th) is now on the website.

The route description can be downloaded here.

The Map and the Route Description now show the final check points. It has a real mix of terrain and views.

If you do recce it, please pass on you comments and ideally give me an idea of how long it takes to run the sections.

I will need to impose a cut off half way at Ladybower Damn and it would be good to get an idea of how long it takes different runners to cross the ground.

The section under Bamford edge is getting over grown with Bracken. I hoped to widen the tracks befre the event, as I had gained permission from Natural England. Unfortunately the permision has come to late and this section is now too over grown to cut back. The alternative route is now on this map as an update.

P.S. Sorry for the speliing mistake on some of the fliers!! The Long Tour of Bardwell....
