Mountain Biking
The 2009/2010 Winter Trailquest series is now three events old and the updated league table is on our results page.
The next event is from Grindleford on Sunday 10th January followed by West Chesterfield/NE Peak District on the 31st January.
** For all trailquesters - please note that with effect from the 1st January the Trail Cyclists Association is changing it’s name to British Mountain Bike Orienteering (BMBO).
A new website will be up and running soon and you will no doubt be kept up to date on developments by email from TCA/BMBO.
The 2010 Dark & White MTB Enduro series dates can be confirmed as Sunday 25th April (Cannock Chase, Staffs) and Sunday 31st October (Sherwood Pines/Notts Forests).
These will be 4 hour (with a shorter 2 hour option) 100% off-road forest based events using a variety of challenging singletrack, tracks and trails; the object of the event is to navigate and ride as many laps of the set course as possible within the overall time limit.

Fell Running/Mountain Marathons
Rab Mountain Marathon 2010 – the dates are confirmed as 25th/26th September and an information pack plus entry form is
now up on our website
The final round of the Peak District 2009/2010 mini-mountain marathon series in the Macclesfield Forest/NW Peak District area
on Sunday 17/1/10 is now full. There may be a few late entries/entries on the day available –
email us from 11th January onwards (Address below).
(The Mini-MM series updated league table will be available to view on our website/results page over the
Christmas/New Year period).
Information packs and entry forms are now up on our website for the
Vasque/Run Further/Long Tour of Bradwell
(31 miles/6300’) on 8/8/10 and the 12th Hope Moors & Tors (8.5 or 20 miles in the Dark Peak) on 3/10/10.
Adventure Racing 2010
We are absolutely delighted to announce that Cotswold Outdoor
have agreed to become the principle prize sponsor for our 2010 series of DW4 Adventure Races.
With additional class and spot prizes coming from Skins, Buff and ourselves plus some creative thinking on course
planning and design, the 2010 races are set to not only put the spark back into adventure racing but also to
continue to challenge the minds and bodies of adventure racers of all abilities.
For 2010 there will be a three event league style series of 4 hour events in and around the Peak District,
the dates being 14th March (Edale/Dark Peak); 9th May (venue tbc) and 4th July (from the Cliffhanger Show, Sheffield).
There will also be a stand-alone 8 hour race on the weekend of 9th/10th October in Northern England (venue/area tbc shortly);
there will be a shorter 4 hour option on this event. More details and an information pack/entry form will be up on
our website/adventure race page between
