Brief details below-
Films:
Between noon and 6:00 pm there will be ten award winning adventure films from around the world. In addition there will be sixteen short adventure films to inspire adventurous young people and adults.
Activities:
During the whole afternoon there will be youth adventure activities taking place including bouldering, climbing walls,
a mountain bike trail and a mini adventure race.
Lectures:
In the afternoon there will also be a lecture and films by Paul McGreavy about youth expeditions.
n the evening there will be stunning photographs and epic tales by mountaineer and photographer Ian Parnell with accounts from the
Eiger and Everest amongst others. Also during the evening will be Nick Williams talking about the discovery of 300km of cave passage and the
largest known underground chamber in the world, amongst the rainforests of Mulu in Sarawak.
Other Events:
- There will be a raffle of outdoor prizes.
- A photo exhibition.
- A home made films competition.
