SKINS 6 in the Peak Adventure Race Series 2008 Round 4 (25/05/2008 16:00:34)

The basic format of the 14th/15th June “Six in the Peak” Adventure Race will be:

Saturday evening: Pindale Outdoor Centre campsite/start open from 7.00pm; start event at any time of your choosing from 9.30pm - 10.30pm. 2.5 hour time limit. Night navigation (on foot).

Overnight campsite - cost included in race fees. No need to camp though i.e. once the night option has been completed, you can leave and then return the following morning ready for the Sunday session.

Sunday morning: start at any time of your choosing from 7.30am - 8.30am. 4.5 hour time limit. Mountain biking, running, river crossing.

No additional compulsory extra equipment is required for this event (above and beyond that detailed in the event information booklet) except for headtorches with a 2.5 hour minimum battery life for the Saturday evening session. You should note that when tackling the river crossing on Sunday you are likely to get pretty wet so you may want to consider carrying appropriate extra kit with you.

NB 3.5 hour event - Sunday morning only - start at anytime between 8.30am - 9.30am. Mountain biking & running only. 3.5 hour time limit.
