MINI-MOUNTAIN MARATHON 7/12/08

IMPORTANT MESSAGE REF LATE CHANGE OF VENUE

Please note that due to circumstances out of our control that the start/finish venue for the mini-mountain marathon on Sunday 7th December has been moved from the village of Eyam to the car park at Bakewell Agricultural Centre, Bakewell.

There is ample parking either at the Agricultural Centre (road access to the Centre is well signposted off the A6 approx 1km SE of Bakewell town centre) OR you can park up in and around Bakewell and it's only a 2 minute walk across the river to the Agricultural Centre. NB - please be aware that all car parks are pay & display with varying levels of charge. There are public toilets nearby plus a large café.

Please note that start times will be extended to 10.30am if required. Also, the event time will be extended from 3 hours to 3.25 hours as this venue means a bit of an extra run out and back before getting to the area where the majority of controls/checkpoints are.

We are really sorry for any inconvenience caused with this late change of venue and it's been a bit of a "Challenge Aneka" for us to re-plan everything (but at least we've still got an event on!!).
