DW4 Challenge Round 1 (20/04/2009 14:27:10)

Look out for black/yellow Dark & White signs on Sunday morning, these will be just off the mini roundabout by Morrison's in the centre of Chapel. The start/finish venue (Chapel Scout HQ) is on Thornbrook Road and is approx 250m off the main road; please note that there is very limited parking at the venue - there is a small free car park close by and any other parking will be on street. The marshal at the start venue will point you in the right direction.

Registration opens at 8.00am, event starts are anytime between 9.00am & 10.00am.

All event entrants will be sent an email this week updating them on the event format; final details will be given out at registration on the day.

Briefly the format is initially biking from Chapel then navigating across to a transition point and some superb running in Lyme Park (using the permanent orienteering course there) and then returning via bike to Chapel. Total time limit = 4 hours. Please ensure you bring a pencil or pen (preferably permanent ink based) for the orienteering phase.
